Last game to complete the first half of the season. With Chelmsford being a handy team and with no wins under our belt this was going to be a do or die match for Maldon.
Pairs started off well and I had decided to change pairing for this week so John Dudley & Steve Cottiss kicked off with a Win with a combined average of 25.03.
The next two games went to Chelmsford Graham Bacon & Roy Laybourn an unlucky Loss with combined 22.64, Clay Westwood & Martin Gunfield also unlucky with a combined 17.50. Last up were Steve Laybourn & Terry Pratt (who returned to us after a few weeks break) Won with a 25.67 making it 2 all going in to the singles
